QA/QC Manager
Job Expectation: The QA/QC Manager ensures that all project quality requirements are met through the development, implementation, and enforcement of quality control processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), Method Statements, and related QA/QC documentation.
2. Lead the QA/QC team in planning and executing inspections, audits, testing, and surveillance activities.
3. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies regarding quality issues, inspections, and approvals.
4. Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and quality documentation in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
5. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.
5. Oversee calibration, material testing, and quality records management.
6. Ensure continuous quality improvement through training, monitoring, and performance reviews.
7. Prepare and submit regular quality reports to senior management and clients.
8. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable codes/standards.
9.Drive a culture of quality and integrity across the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Holding an Omani Driving license - Preferred
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years’ QA/QC experience in Power/Substation construction, Maintenance or oil & gas.
